Meet Isabella
East Coast & Destination Wedding Photographer
Hi! I’m Isabella Ruiz! A creator, a storyteller, and someone endlessly fascinated by the way light falls on the people we love. I live in Philadelphia with my husband, Ledger, who I adore, and our three cockapoo pups who fill our home with so much joy.
Creativity has always been my language. From sewing and crocheting to crafting things simply because they make my heart feel full, I’ve always found magic in making. Photography is where that magic found its home; where art and emotion meet, where moments become something you can touch long after they’ve passed.
My approach is bold enough to chase the truth, and gentle enough to let it unfold naturally. I believe the best photos happen when people feel seen, understood, and free to be themselves.
Photography is more than my passion. It’s the way I honor the little moments, the big celebrations, and the stories that deserve to be kept forever.
I hope to work together soon!
Why We’ll Be a Great Fit
Truthfully, I just really love love. Not the perfectly curated kind—the kind that makes you laugh until you cry, squeeze each other’s hand without thinking, tear up during your vows, and dance like no one’s watching. I love being around couples who genuinely enjoy each other. The chemistry, the quiet moments, the inside jokes, the happy tears… that’s the magic I want to document. My goal isn’t to create your story—it’s to notice it, preserve it, and tell it exactly as it felt.
When you look back at your gallery years from now, I don’t want you to just see beautiful photos. I want you to remember how it all felt. I want you to find the joyful ones, the emotional ones, the funny ones, the messy in-between moments, and the little memories you didn’t even realize were happening. If your biggest hope is a gallery that feels honest, timeless, and unapologetically you, I think we’re going to get along really well.
As a bride myself, I know just how much your photographer shapes the way your wedding day feels. The experience I was given is something I’ll cherish forever, and it’s exactly what inspires the way I serve each and every one of my couples.
